In theatrical dance film Aniceto, Jorge also acted alongside other known dancers. “Dancers Among Us”, a high profile photography series has featured Jorge Torres as the one and only Argentine Tango dancer. In Las Vegas, Jorge Torres
was invited to performed on the Grammy award in the
Tango Category.
Jorge Torres was a member of the final jury for the first Mundial de Tango (World Tango Championship) in Buenos Aires in 2003. In 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2017 until the most recently on 2023, he repeatedly stood among other legendary tango figures as judge at the Finals of both Stage and Salon Category for Mundial de Tango.
In addition, he was the jury for the Asian Championship in 2011-2021 and has been the main jury for the USA Tango Championships since 2007.
In December 2014, The New York Times recognized Jorge Torres as one of the Ten Best Male Dancers of the year.
JORGE TORRES began his dance training at the age of 3 under the tutelage of Norberto Guichenduc, starting within the different styles of Argentine Folk dances. Soon thereafter, Mr. Norberto Guichenduc, recognizing Jorge’s natural talent, became his personal trainer, mentor and friend for life and thus began years of classical training in ballet, tango, and performance.
Before graduating from his studies to be a dance teacher himself, Jorge embarked on a professional career at the internationally renowned Teatro Colon of Buenos Aires which lasted for a decade.
Among few, Jorge Torres has studied the art of Argentine Tango from dancers and teachers of great stature, including Rodolfo Dinzel, Pepito Avellaneda, and Antonio Todaro. He has performed in noted tango houses and theaters in Argentina along with notable tango orchestras. His extensive list of shows includes “Imagenes”, “Tango y Añoranzas”, “La Pesada del Tango”, “Tangokinesis”, “Tanguisimo 91”, ”Tango Tango”, “Viva Tango”, “Tango Passion”, “Buenos Aires Tango Show”, “Tango Seduction”, and most renowned, the Broadway and international hit “Forever Tango”, for which he has been part of the original cast and the Dance Captain since 1995 till 2007.
He was nominated for Tony Award Best Choreography for his outstanding work in “Forever Tango”. The show ran for over a year at the Marquis Theater in New York City. In that same year “Forever Tango” was also nominated for best choreography by the Outer Critics Circle and nominated for four awards including best choreography by the Drama Desk.
Jorge Torres has also coordinated shows such as “World Tango Week” in Tokyo and Directed the Show “Tango Legend” attracting record breaking results each time.
In 2013, Malbec and Tango house, the first tango house outside Argentina was established in New York City with him being the choreographer and dance captain.
He has recorded ‘A Evaristo Carriego’ in the video “Dancing in the moment” with Karen Kain for the Canadian Broadcasting Company directed by Luis Bravo.

CAMILA ALEGRE AND EZEQUIEL LÓPEZ were World Stage Tango Champions in 2015. They trained as dancers, teachers, and choreographers of Argentine tango and folklore from an early age. They have been part of various world-renowned companies such as Tango Fire, Corporación Tangos,Tango Legends, Tangueara el Musical, Tango After Dark, Break the Tango, among others.
They have also participated in important and prestigious tango festivals around the world, held in different parts of the world, such as Turkey, the United States, Italy, France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, etc.
They have served as judges at the European Tango Championship held in Italy twice, and at the World and Provincial Preliminary Tango Championships, as well as the World Tango Championship held in Buenos Aires. They were also part of the Royal Caribbean Cruises company's Tango Buenos Aires show, traveling and touring the Caribbean for several months. Today, they continue to participate in various festivals and world championships. Tango has allowed them to travel around the world to showcase their dance on five continents: Asia, America, Europe, and Oceania. They dream of one day bringing their tango to all the remaining continents.
Antonella Terrazas
ANTONELLA TERRAZAS was born in Mendoza, Argentina, into a family of dancers and choreographers. With a strong background in ballet, contemporary dance, and choreography, she has built an international career as a tango dancer, teacher, and choreographer.
She directed large-scale choreographies for national festivals in Argentina, leading over 700 artists for audiences of up to 30,000 people. In 2012, she moved to Europe and began teaching tango in Italy. From 2014 to 2018, she worked closely with Sebastián Arce, one of her greatest influences, and in 2015 relocated to Moscow to teach alongside him at his academy.
Antonella has collaborated with renowned dancers across Europe and Russia, including Fernando Galera, Csongor Kicsi, Maximiliano Cristiani, Andrés Sautel, and Pablo Rodríguez. She has served as a jury member in several national and international tango competitions, including events in Italy and the European Championship in 2022.
She is also a certified yoga instructor, which complements her teaching by bringing deep awareness of the body. Her method integrates technical precision, musicality, and improvisation.
Antonella is the founder of Tango House Budapest and Tango House Skopje, and she also works online with students from around the world. She has become a maestro at Tangomeet.com, where she continues to teach and share her approach to tango.
She currently divides her time between Italy and Budapest, traveling internationally to teach, perform, and develop new artistic projects.

Basil Nadela
BASIL NADELA is a dancer, dance teacher, tango dj and afro latin dj based in Manila, Philippines.
Born and raised in Cebu City, Basil Nadela is a lover of dance. He's dabbled in different forms: from latin and standard ballroom, to hip hop, and afro. But after all that, he's found his passion in Salsa and Argentine tango where he's explored and developed his freedom of movement and expression. Basil has created his own style where one can truly say he is a Filipino milonguero and salsero.
Currently, he’s a member of Cachimbo Dance Company (Salsa), and the founder of Tango Para Todos, an organizing group for Argentine tango events and classes.
